SAN FRANCISCO , Twitter today announced that it is rolling out a significant update to its Periscope live video app in the coming weeks. Periscope has become an indispensable broadcast tool for journalists, musicians, athletes and everyday people to share the world around them. New features being added include the ability to save broadcasts beyond 24 hours, and a new way to search that makes it easy to find broadcasts – both live streams and replays – across several new categories, such as Music or Travel.
